LODGE MEETING.

ASHBURTONy U.A O.D. The fortnightly meeting of the Star of Ashburton Lodge, U.A.0.D.. was held last evening, the A.D. (Bro. It. M. Chambers) presiding. Sick pay was passed in favour of 11 members. . It was decided to give the delegates a free hand with regard to the medical agreement as outlined by the sub-com-mittee of the United Friendly Societies’ Association. A member’s wifo was registered. Two candidates were initiated. Members of the Success of Ashburton and several old members of the Order attended and after the lodge adjourned a social hour was spent with cards and table tennis.
