'Owing to petrol restrictions the coordinating tutor of dress-Vnnking, Miss Paterson, will be unable to complete her itinerary of Mid-Canterbury. A most successful six months of tuition has the lectures and over 4190 miles having been traversed by Miss raterson. Miss Paterson leaves for her home in Southland shortly. At the last dressmaking day at Willowby, Mrs IV. Mae Kay presented Miss Paterson with, a shoulder spray and Airs A. S. Hayman handl'd her a cup, saucer and plate as a. token of appreciation of her work from all the members. It is hoped to rclorm the classes in the autumn.
