VERDICT OF GUILTY.

TRIAL OF SAFEBREAKERS. (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 21. Guilty of breaking and entering the railway stations at Scfton and Kniapoi and of committing theft at Ivaiapoi was the verdict of the jury against Graham Wilfred Morton and Leslie Jack Davis, in the Supreme Court today. Morton and Davis were arrested near Barrytown on July 4 by Sergeant W. Cooper, one of the men killed at Koiterangi on October 8. Returning after a retirement of 35 minutes,, the jury found Davis and Morton guilty on both counts, and they were remanded until Friday for sentence.
