CAUSE OF AILMENTS.

AMERICAN DOCTOR ON CAUSES MEDICAL STUNTS CONDEMNED (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Roe. 12.10) NEW YORK, Oct. 20. Dr. Perry Goldsmith, addressing the American Academy of Opthnlogy .and Otolarvngology at Chicago advised that less attention he paid to new gadgets and medical stunts, especially relating to the nose and throat. He said our ancestry must have been of tough fibre. They had none of those gadgets. They did not fuss about themselves or their supply of vitamins and wore wise enough to know that health, happiness and longevity were hot necessarily obtained by tinkering with one s insides. We are apt to think too much about our ailments, regardless of the logical cause, our own laziness or over-eating.
