SPRING FAIR.
ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH. MANY ATTRACTIVE STALLS. St. Andrews Hall was the centre ol much activity this afternoon when the spring fair of St. Andrew’s Church was opened. Stalls, displaying goods ranging from needlework to garden produce, had been made as gay and attractive as possible and excellent business was done from the opening of the fair. In declaring the fair open, the Rev. J. S. Murray thanked the members oi the committee and the many othei people who had worked to make the fair a success. . , , Proceeds are for the general fund ol the church. Boothroyd (convener), Miss 'Corbet, Mrs Lydington, Mrs I. Wilkie. Produce—Mrs G. Tullocli (convener), Mrs Lion, Mr A. Drayton. Plants and Flowers—Mrs Jos. McElhinney (convener), Mrs F. Scott, Mrs R. Turnbull, Mrs Livingston, Mrs Maitland, Mrs W. Bruce. Miscellaneous—Mrs J. Bennet (convener), Mrs K. Perry. Ladies Gift—Mrs li. J. Yulson and Mrs W. Thomas (conveners), Mrs D. H. Moore, Mrs R. ly/ummcnd, Mrs J. H. Moore, Mrs E. Norrish, Mrs L Houston, Mrs S. Allen, Mrs H. Heitor d, Misses L. Watt, A. Mclntyre Ice Ceram—Mrs W. B. W. 8011, Miss K. Anderson, Miss Joy Bell.
