LEADER OF THE OPPOSITION. (P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Day. By unanimous vote of the .Parliamentary members of tbe National Party Mr S. G. Holland (Leader of the Opposition) was selected yesterday to represent the Opposition on a visit to GreatBritain. An invitation by the United Kingdom branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association was accepted some weeks ago. The Government lrtembcr has not yet been chosen. While Mr Holland is absent, Mr Forbes will ac-t .as Deputy-Leader of the Opposition. Mr Holland will leave New Zealand before the end of the year and will be away about three months. All expenses of Mr Holland’s visit, also those of a prominent member of the Labour! Party, will he defrayed by tfie Empire Parliamentarv Association.
