NEED FOR WOOLLEN CLOTHI'NIG.

The Canterbury Patriotic Fund has advised the Wool Controller for the Mid-Canterbury Patriotic Fund (Mrs F. Curtis), that 1001 b of navy blue wool will be available shortly for the knitting for men of tho /Merchant Marine. A special request has been received from Viscount Bledisloe that the Women’s Institutes and Women’s Division should make a special effort to knit clothing for the Merchant Marine. Those institutions will have the first call on the wool which will he available. A quantity of khaki wool and material for handkerchiefs is available from Mrs Curtis for anyone who wishes to make them up.
