TO TRAIN AT BURNHAM
THE NEXT REINFORCEMENTS. SOUTHERN INFANTRY DRAFT. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) stated to-day that in connection with the recent announcement that future reinforcement drafts for the 2nd N.Z.E.F. would he trained at Trentham, it has not been found possible, within ijhe time available, to provide in Trentham military camp tho extra accommodation necessary to receive all the personnel of the next reinforcement draft, and that a portion of the draft will be trained in the camps at Papakura and Burnham.
Mr Jones added that infantry and Maori reinforcements from the Northern Military District will be trained at Papakura, and infantry reinforcements from the Southern Military District will be trained at Burnham.
