Ashburton representative women’s hockey teams to play Canterbury at Christchurch on Saturday have been announced by the selector (Mr W- Corbett) as follow: “A” Team. Goal: E. Procter (Tinwald). Backs: R. Donaldson (Tinwald), J. Kilworth (Methven). Half-backs: G. Ownswor'th (Lowcliffe), W. Lowe (Hinds, eapt.), A. Dutton (Lowcliffe). Forwards: P. Barnes (Lowcliffe), J. Hawke (Lowcliffe), M. Henderson (Tinwald), -M. Donaldson (Tinwald), T. Borgfeldt (Ashburton). B Team. Goal: 8., Brown (Rakaia). Backs: I. jMcKendry (Methven), J. Hanson (Lowcliffe). Half-backs :• N. Needham (Rakaia), D. Johnston (Rakaia),.N. Loach (Tinwald). Forwards: J. Watson (Methven, capt.), J. Lumsden (Methven), G. Owen (Methven), J. Newman (Methven), E. Dutton (Lowcliffe). Mr G. Bishop will be the manager, and Mrs A. J. Loach the chaperone. The draw for junior matches on Saturday is as follows: Methven A v. Methven B, at Methven; Ashburton v. Hinds, at Ashburton, 2.30; Wakanui v, Rakaia, at Wakanui,- 2.30.
