NATIONAL PARTY.
BRANCH FORMED AT MT. SOMERS
A public meeting whs held in the Mount Somers library to form a branch of the National Party. Mr S. Chaffey was elected to the chair and Mr L. Prebble secretary and treasurer. A committee was set up with Mr Chaffey chairman and Mr F. Gifkins deputy-chairman and deputy-delegate. The meeting was addressed by Mr Hayhurst, of Temuka. A further meeting will be called spem. to set up an executive.
