PRAISE FOR COALITION. MR CHURCHILL’S STRONG TEAM. EVERY CONFIDENCE EXPRESSED. (Rec. 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. “After meeting Londoners, only the striking evidence of the “blitz” makes me believe that, war is raging,” said Air Fraser at the end of his tour of bombed areas in London.

Accompanied by Air W. J. Jordan (High Commissioner for New Zealand), Mr Hei-bert Morrison (Homo Secretary) and Admiral Sir Edward Evans, Air Fraser visited St. Paul’s, whore he inspected the Auxiliary Fire Services Company ’of Stepney, Hackney and Bermondsey.

Addressing the Empire Parliamentary Association, Mr Fraser paid a tribute to tlio Coalition Government. He said that New Zealanders were convinced that Air Churchill had chosen the best men from all parties to form a team, in which they had complete confidence. Baron Reaverbrook told the Australian Associated Press: “I was most impressed with Air Fraser. He is quiet, and does not criticise unnecessarily, but is not afraid to make discerning, forceful criticism. He is a strong man.”

GLASGOW CONFERRING HONOUR. FREEDOM OF THE CITY. (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. The Ht. Hon. Peter Fraser will address a public meeting when he visits Glasgow shortly to receive the freedom of the City. Mr Fraser will have the opportunity of meeting old friends in the Highlands and New Zealanders at present in Glasgow at a reception following the public meeting.—British Official Wireless.
