SAFE CONDUCT.
AXIS CONSULAR OFFICIALS WASHINGTON. July 7. The Under-Secretary of State (Air Sumner Welles) has announced that the Britsih Government has agreed in principle to the sale conduct of ->0(1 Gorman and Italian consular officials, propaganda workers, and others win. will be leaving the United States next week. 'They will travel to Lisbon in the United Slates transport, West Point.

The Under Secretary of State (Mr Sumner Welles) announced that Britain had agreed in principle to granting safe conduct to consular officers ordered to leave America.
