ADVOCACY IN BRITAIN. LONDON PAPER’S VIEWPOINT. (Roc. 1.30 ft.m.) LONDON. July 8. The “Dailv Express,” in a leading article, says->Tn M. Stalin’s policy the Gormans have met something as pithless as their own, but Britain is ruthless neither in her way of fighting nor in her outlook.
“This is because many Britons, without reason, believe the war is going well enough. They expect that things will turn up.' Last , autumn Greece turned up, and now it is Russia. Britain herself may turn up a great general of mechanised wai ; ievolt may develop inside Germany; pig s may fly. “There is tinder among the people of Europe when Britain provides the sparks. Wo must start such revolts as Russian bombs started in Rumania at the end of last month. What Russian bombs started at lasi, tlio British must start in hundreds of cities simultaneous! v.”
