ENTERTAINMENTS.

. ST. JAMES THEATRE. “ALL THIS AND HEAVEN TOO.” Bette Davis and Charles Boyer have combined their dynamic talents in bringing Rachel Field’s novel, “All This, And Heaven Too,” to glowing life on the screen. Directed with incomparable artistry by Anatole Litvak, “All This, and Heaven Too” emerges as the most superb love story of modern times. The final performance will be given to-night. “Golden Boy,” Columbia’s screen version of Clifford Odets’ sensational stage success, will be shown on Wednesday and Thursday. The.film, a stirring romantic drama of a hoy with the soul of a musician and the mauling fists of a champion boxer, stars Barbara Stanwyck, Adolphe Menjou and William Holden. Tired of working toward artistic triumphs in some nebulous future, the boy abandons his art to win for himself a quick success as a prisjs-ring killer. “Golden Boy” is the thrilling, tender story of that decision ; but, more important, it is the screen portrayal of the tremendous con fiict which rages when the youth attempts to force both himself and his family to believe that his decision is the right one. Others in the stellar cast are Joseph Calloia, Sam Loveno, Lee Cobh, Edward Biophv, William Strauss and Frank Jonks:
