DELEGATES MEET.

PRESBYTERIAL ASSOCIATION The Ashburton Presbyterial Association met in St. Andrew’s Hall on Tuesday afternoon, when there was a good attendance of representatives of branches. In the absence of the president (Airs H. A. Lloyd), Airs E. B. Stevenson (vice-president) presided. - The secretary was instructed to write a- letter of sympathy to Airs H. A. Lloyd in the death of her brother. Air Alurdoch Bruce. v A letter was received from the Rev. E. Johnston (manager of the Alaori Boys’ Farm at Te Whiti), advising members of articles of clothing suitable for boys on the farm. Airs Stevenson gave an interesting talk on, “The meaning of service and co-operation,” written by Du. AY. E. Fosdick, for which she was thanked. Oriental goods were displayed for sale.
