SUDDEN DEATH.
WELL-KNOWN AUCTIONEER (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 14. Mr W. M. AVatson, well known all over Canterbury, as stock agent at Darfield for Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., died suddenly at the Addington market about J 2.30 p.m. to-day. Mr AVatson was just about to sell a pen of sheep when he fell dead. Mr Watson, who was 43, was educated at Christ’s College, and left to join the firm of H. Matson and Co. After a short time as a clerk with Matson’s, Mr Watson joined the firm of Pyne, Gould 1 , Guinness Ltd., with which he remained until his death. Mr AVatson is survived by his wife and three children.
