Cabled advice has, been, received in Christchurch to the effect- that a number of doctors attached to the Noav Zealand Aledienl Corps, including Major J. P. AlcQuilkin, formerly of Eiffelton, are well and safe. Air J. R-. H. Cooksey, (Dominion Commissioner for Training in the Boy Scout movement, will arrive in Ashburton on the north-bound express this evening. Air Cooksey will meet the local scouts, cubs and members of the Scout committee this evening.
