ENTERTAINMENTS.

ST. JAMES THEATRE.

“MYSTERY SEA RAIDER.” Film fans who like their screen thrills dished up without any fancy trimmings, and who dote on two-fisted drama of international intrigue, have to look no further than, “Mystery Sea Raider,” showing to-night and finally on Monday. Based on three major naval incidents in the present war, those of the Graf Spee, the Altmark and the City of Flint, ‘‘Mystery Sea Raider” shows for the first time the story behind commerce raiding on the high seas in wartime. Henry Wilcoxon and Carol Landis head a strong cast. In addition is Paramount’s “World in Flames,” truly an astounding picture for all free people. “World in Flames” is the true story of the development ol conquest by force in the last few years, and-clearly indicates the urgency for every free man and woman to throw their weight into the scales. “World la Flames” is a real picture. Real world scenes taken just at the time they happened bv 101) Paramount cameramen. To see “World In Flames” is the duty of every citizen. Also showing on the programme is the latest Cinesound News and “Christmas Under Fire,” a short subject presenting a vivid picture of war-time London and England and the fortitude and faith of its people.
