The Chinese Ambassador (Dr. Hushih) said that materials were going from the United States to China in ever-increasing amounts. ■ Dr. Quo described his conversation with Mr Hull as very satisfactory.. He predicted that Britain now can stave off any invasion attempt and that tho crucial struggle of the European war will be the battle of the Atlantic.
