UNITED STATES AID FOR CHINA, MATERIALS STEADILY GROWING. (Rec. 1.0.) WASHINGTON, April 29. Drl Quo Tai Chi, the new Foreign Minister in China, said to-day, after conferences with President Roosevelt and Mr Cordell Hull, that he was greatly encouraged about the prospects of American co-operation with China;
The Chinese Ambassador (Dr. Hushih) said that materials were going from the United States to China in ever-increasing amounts. ■ Dr. Quo described his conversation with Mr Hull as very satisfactory.. He predicted that Britain now can stave off any invasion attempt and that tho crucial struggle of the European war will be the battle of the Atlantic.
