WOMEN’S DIVISION.

THE LYNNFORD BRANCH. At the annual meeting of the Lynnforcl branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, Mrs G. Moore (provincial president) presided over a good attendance. /Floral sprays were presented to Mrs G. Moore, Mrs L. Moore and Mrs L. Noble. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mrs L. Moore; vice-presi-dents Mesdames L. Noble, Chalmers and Hume and Miss Ellis; secretary, Mrs L. Noble; treasurer, Mrs McKay. A very enjoyable birthday garden party was held at Mrs C. Noble’s residence, when many visitors were present.

Winners of competitions for the year were: Miss Ml Davison 1, Mrs Chalmers 2; junior, Miss J. Davison 1, Miss M. Mclntosh 2; specials for blooms, Mrs Chalmers 1, Miss J. Davison 2.

SEAFIELD ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Seafield branch of the Womens Division of the Farmers’ Union was held in, the Seafield Hall. Mrs F. Johnson presided. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £8 12s 6d. Aggregate prizes for the year were Won as follow: —Seniors, Mrs F. Johnson, Mrs H. Driscoll, Mrs R. J. Martin. Juniors: Miss N. Dennison, Miss J. Mitchell, Miss E. Martin. Flower: Miss J. Mitchell, Mrs H. Driscoll- Mrs K. M. Power. Specimen bloom, large: Miss J. Mitchell. Small: Miss N. Dennison.

' Officers elected were,:—President, Mi's' F. Johnson • vice-presidents, Mesdames M. Bruce, R. J. Martin H. Driscoll, 't Gregory; Secretary. Mrs H. A. Bruce; treasurer, Mrs J. Mitchell, committee, the president, vice-presi-dent, secretary, treasurer, and Mesdames A. Bennison, K. M. Power and J. Glassey; competitions. Miss J. Mitch ell.
