TECHNICAL OLD BOYS’ CLUB.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS. / The last season had been quite successful, stated the report presented at the annual meeting of the Technical Old Boys’ Football Club last evening. The president (Mr R. Ravnes) presided. The report stated that the seniors had played many good games and two players had gained representative? honours. The junior team had been withdrawn because of the calls for military sendee. The third-grade team had been second in the competition. Many club players had gone overseas.
The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr W. Crawford; president, Mr R. Baynes; vice-presidents, Messrs A. Clarke, H. Cornwall, E. Morriss, L. B. Dalton, C. Solway, G. Hefford, N. Hawke, G. Chilton, G. Nutbrown, J. M. Willoughby, J. B. Cullen, G. Cartwright and G. Day; club captain, Mr J. G. Day; vice-captain, Mr A. Atwood ; secretary, Mr M. Chilton; as-sistant-secretary,Mr J. Nutbrown; auditor, Mr J. M. Willoughby. Messrs J. G. Day, H. Cornwall and Dalton were appointed coaches.
/The number of teams to he entered in the competitions was left to the committee.
Wednesday night was selected for practices, ' •
It was agreed to play a friendly match with High. School Old Boys on Saturday.
