NEW YORK, April 1. An American avlio has just returned from Italy said to-day that Signor Alussolini had averted a revolution recently hv sending Cabinet Alinisters to the front. Alarshal Badoglio. the formotr Chief of Italian General Staff, was to liaA-e led the revolt which flic Alinisters were supporting. Signor Alussolini learned of their plan just in time to tlnvart them.

Americans state that the Italians are growing more resentful of German troops in Italy. The hostility is most in evidence among Italian soldiers. The Italians felt sorry for Signor Mussolini rather than hating him.
