ANGLICAN GUILD.

’TINWALD LADIES’ MEETING The Timvnld Anglican Ladies’ Guild held its annual meeting at- the Vicarage on Tuesday, when tile Rev. H. H. Fountain presided.. The report stated that the, Guild had again done good work both for the Church and outside organisations. Card evenings had been held, with the result that €3 IDs was donated to the Sick and.’Wounded Fund, £6 to the Patriotic Fund, and £2 Ifls to the Church Army Hut at Burnham. Garments had been: knitted for the Lady Galway Guild and parcels sent to soldiers overseas. The Guild had been in charge of the cake stall at the patriotic bazaar. The sale of work for St. Saviour’s Girls’ Home realised £7 ss. New cassocks and surplices had been supplied for the servers and five dozen cups find saucers given to the Parish Hall. The spring flower show was a success.

The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £l2 15s in the General Fund and £42 13s 3d in the Memorial Fund. The election of officers resulted:— President, j)frs H. H. Fountain; vicepresident, Mrs Jennings; secretary, Mrs C. Bell; assistant-secretary, Mrs G. Sewell; convenor for afternoon tea and altar flowers. Airs G. Sewell. It was decided to hold the sale of work in aid of St. Saviour’s Orphanage in July, also to. start the card tourneys on April 22. Votes of thanks wore passed to all who had assisted in the work during the year.
