The following letter from Lady Scott, wife of Sir George Slcott, appeared in the “Daily Telegraph,’’ London, recently Sir,—The phiegm of the British child is sometimes amusing; it breaks tension. Here is Mary, aged 14, writing to her aunt on Sunday evening in a. small provincial town: “Jerry is somewhere about; hei has just dropped 11 something-or-other.
