QAMARU MEETING ABANDONED.
Owing to the sodden state of the course as the result of the rain the Oamaru Jockey Club was forced to abandon the second day of its meeting, which, was to hayo been held yesterday.

The totalisator handled £22,782, compared with £20,679 for the second day last year.
