(United Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, March 7. , It is announced that an agreement between Thailand and Indo-G'hina hasbeen, virtually concluded, under Japanese mediation. This was stated in Tokio to-day. A commission has been set up to decide the new boundaries for the two countries. Just- what concessions Would fall t» Japan,. it was stated, would he decided later. The armistice expired at noon to-day and would not he extended. There were a few minor points to be settled. :1 •

Referring to the subject of the negotiations with Thailand and Indo-China the spokesman of the Cabinet Information Bureau -(Mr IsMi) said': “AVe liavc no. intention of further extending the truce. It is unnecessary because agreement has been reached on the main points of the Japanese plan.” He was unable to say whether the negotiations would bo concluded to-dav but said that the joint commission had undoubtedly been established to determine the border. Asked if ho thought Mr Cordell Hull (American Secretary of State) would like the fact that the negotiations had been settled Mr Ishii said: “I think so; Mr Hull likes peace.”
