LORD AND LADY GALWAY NEW ZEALAND COMFORTS INSPECTED (Rec. 10.0 a.m.) LONDON, Mar. C. Viscount and Lady Galway have arrived here. \ Lady Galway’s first act after heir arrival a. few days ago was to inspect a large consignment of comforts sent to England under the Lady Galway Patriotic Fund. She was accompanied by Mr W. J: Jordan and Mrs Jordan and Lady Reading (chairman of the Wojnen’s Voluntary Services, which is responsible for distribution). Lady Galway was particularly interested in a child’s dress from a Gisborne. contributor. A note attached said: “If you look in the pocket you will find something interesting.” Inside the pocket was a handkerchief with sixpence tied in the corner.
