AMERICAN PASSPORTS.
ORDER FOR THEIR RENEWAL. PRECAUTION AGAINST FORGERY. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) WASHINGTON j February 20. The United States is tightening control over Americans abroad with a yiew to eliminating forged or. stolen passports also to determine possible points of subversive activities. Orders have been issued requiring all .persons holding American passports to renew them before April 10, after which time tho present passports will be obsolete.
