HEAVY CONCENTRATIONS
BRITISH TAKE STATIONS ARRIVAL IN SINGAPORE % NEW ZEALANDERS INCLUDED “ To discourage threats to the Empire from the Far East, and to counteract any hostile move,” large forces of British, Indian, Australian, and New Zealand troops, artilleiy and air services have been concentrated at strategic points based on Singapore. The Australian force is the largest and most powerful ever seen in Malaya. Heavy reinforcements of air squadrons, including every type of the latest bombers, and twin- and smgle-engmed fighter planes have reached the Far East, and among these are units of the New Zealand Air Force.
