ITALIAN PEOPLE AND FASTS.
(Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) VATICAN CITY, January 7. In view of the present situation, the Rope absolved the people of Italy from all fasts and abstinences in 1941, with the exception of Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
