ST. JAMES THEATRE. A comedy and a thriller arc combined for the double star feature programme showing to-night and to-morrow afternoon and evening. “Three Cheers for the Irish’’ is a comedy that finds appeal to all as it provides much to provoke laughter and something that penetrates the heart. Lovely Priscilla Lane, Dennis Morgan and Thomas Mitchell all give excellent performances in the lead roles and and will delight the hearts of every person in town. They are given unusualy fine support by Alan Hale, William • Lundigan, Irene Hervey and Virginia Grey. The film has captured the Irish mood perfectly and you’ll laugh, love and live with the gay scrappy family. Continuing the series of the Secret Service operative “Brass” .Bancroft (Ronald Reagan) “Smashing the Money Ring” is thei thrilling associate feature. Crammed with action and exciting incident the story deals with a counterfeiting ring.
