MUSICAL SERVICE.

WILLOWBY METHODIST CHURCH.

The Rev. W. W ; . Avery conducted a special musical service of worship in the Willowby Church on Sunday evening. Solos were sung by Miss Elaine Li 11 and Mr C. Bishop (Ashburton). Scriptuvtd readings illustrative of the verses of tho hymn, “Who is He in Yonder Stall,” were given by Mr Avery, the choir singing the responses and the congregation joining in the refrain. A retiring collection in aid of the South Island Methodist Children’s Orphanage, Papanui, was taken up.
