OBITUARY.

MR F. R. WALLIS.

(Per Press Association). GORE, This Day. Mr Richard Frederick Wallis, one of the best known men in the wool and frozen meat trade in southern New Zealand, died at Christchurch, aged 80. He was an old identity of Gore and had a splendid record in his early <lays as an athlete. . For many years he was connected with the Gpie Fire Brigade and racing and trotting clubs. Mr Wallis is survived by his Wife, five daughters and three sons. PATH Eft OF HEIRESS. (United Press Association— Copyright.) NEW YORK, December 5. The death has occurred of Mr Franklyn Hutton, father of Barbara Hutton, the Woolwortb heiress.
