THE MONTH AT RUAPUNA. Several showers and some heavy rain totalling 3i inches were recorded at the Ruapuna school last month. On. one day an inch of rain fell, to the beneit of crops and pastures. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. The Government Meteorologist, at noon to-day, issued the following statement regarding the weather;— A very weak disturbance is stationary over central New Zealand but pressure is high over the whole region. The forecast for the east coast of the South Island from Blenheim to Oamaru is as follows: Light to fresh north-easterly winds, some morning low clouds but weather otherwise fair to fine with moderate temperatures.
