Referring to activities of the Royal Air Force the Air Ministry bulletin says that in the Western' Desert night raids were made during Tuesday and yesterday on El Adem, Solium and- Sidi Barrani. Bombs foil on the target area at each place A Rhodesian squadron successfully raided stores and dumps on the road east of iChlega. The dumps were burnt out, the flames reaching a considerable height. ' At Adarto the railway station was raided and a direct hit on the station buildings completely wrecked them. Goods trucks on the siding and a group of huts near the station were also badly damaged. One of our aircraft on reconnaissance failed to return, but with this exception all these operations were carried out without loss.

A.Cairo communique states: “One of our patrols in the Kassala sector successfully engaged.a large enemy party, inflicting a number of casualties. Our artillery was again active in. the area west of Gallabat. There is no change on other fronts.”—British Official Wireless.
