FIRES IN THE MIDLANDS.
SOON GOT UNDER CONTROL.
NO LARGE BLAZES IN LONDON
(Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, December 4
The Air Ministry states that the enemy attacked London and tho Midlands last night. Bombs were also dropped on various points between these towns and the coast. The total casualties should not prove to be large in number. Fires in tho Midlands were soon under control. No large fires wore reported in the London area.
