THREE DISTRESS CALLS

ATTACKS IN NORTH ATLANTIC. NEW YORK, December 1. The Mnckay Radio intercepted distress palls from three British vessels in about the same location in the North Atlantic, 100 miles west of Ireland.

The calls came from an unidentified craft (call letters GKLF), the Lady Glanely, 5497 tons, which was torpedoed at 3.15 a.m. (G.M.T.), and the Goodleigh, 5488 tons, which was torpedoed at 5.45 a.m. (G.M.T.).
