A request that the .autographs of teams from all clubs in the Ashburton County Cricket Association, on their own club note paper, should be supplied to him was made in a letter to the secretary of the Association, by Horace Brown, of Concord, New South Wales, Australia. This letter was read to the Management Committee last evening. Brown, who is 18 years of age, has boon an invalid for eight years. Collecting teams’ autographs' oil their clubs’ notepaper is his bobby. He writes:

“I have over 1999 footballers’ autographs on their clubs’ notepaper. There was an article in the “Sydney Sun,” which said it was j>robably a record. I hope to have over this number of cricketers’ autographs by the end of, the season. .So far I have 500. I also have a number of New Zealand footballers’ autographs and was made honorary vice-president of the Wellington Rugby League Association and the City Rovers Football 'Club. Mr V r ally Ingrain, sporting announcer of Station 2ZB Wellington, recently, put a small talk over in one of his sessions about my collection and received 125 "footballers’ autographs.” A request is also made for the autographs of some of the delegates to the Association.

The Management Committee decided to leave the matter over as the collection of the autographs of teams in the County Would present considerable difficulties.
