LONDON PERSPECTIVE.
I have often been urged to count my blessings. Now I do so, writes a Londoner to “The Times.” I see a number of damaged, buildings and countless houses standing untouched. I hear of many tragic casualties, but not more than a few thousands, whereas millions of people everywhere are strong and well. For some hours in the 24 we are in some danger; for more hours the danger to each one personally is not in the least acute. The balance is on the credit side. The blessings are worth counting.
