ANTI-NAZI RIOTING.

NORWEGIANS AND DANES’.

LONDON, November 23

The Stockholm correspondent of the “Times’ 5 says that supporters of the Quisling regime have begun to purge the Oslo administration, with the dismissal or arrest of many leading men, including Messrs Adolf Ondrebo, and J. Sundby, who have both been arrested. Mr Gann, director of the city s chief meat enterprises and Mr Tryggve Nielson, one of Oslo’s most prominent councillors for many years, have both been dismissed and may be arrested.

Quisling leaders are holding meetings throughout the country, most of them ending in free fights and arrests, often accompanied by demonstrations in favour of King Haakon. Danish Nazi demonstrations have ended in riots. The Government, determined to prevent further uniformed Nazi meetings, has ordered a number of arrests.
