LOYAL ASHBURTON M.U.1.0.0.F.
The quarterly summoned masting of the Loyal Ashburton Lodge, M.TJ.1.0.0.F., was held! last evening, the LiP.N.G. (Bro. G. Waters) presiding over a good attendance. > Motions of sympathy with the relatives of the late Dr. Miller and with Bro. A. J. MeCalluni in the death of his brother were carried in the manner customary in the Order. Sick pay amounting to £4B 5s was passed in favour of 19 members. Notification was received that the Greymouth Lodge was desirous of paying a visit to Ashburton, in the near future. Appeals for donations to the Health Camp and Patriotic Fund were referred to the District Committee. The District Secretary notified that the syllabus for next year should be in his hands by January 1. Three candidates were initiated and two proposed.
