Attempting to save Madame Lupescu from extradition to Rumania, KingCarol is reputed to have admitted his marriage in London some years ago. CERTIFICATE NOT TRACED. SEARCH AT SOMERSET HOUSE. (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Novtembqr 6. Search of the marriage entries "t Somerset House for the- last .20 years revealed no- record of thei marriage of King Carol and Madame Lupescu. Madame Lupescu accompanied King Carol on ai visit to London in 1928 ivvhon the Go-vernmnet asked them to leave after three weeks.
