FLEMINGTON SCHOOL.

MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE. , The monthly meeting of the Flemington School Committee was held m the School on Monday evening. Mr C. W. Anderson presided over a full attendance of members. The headmaster (Mr L. A. Hayward) reported that there had been two admissions since the beginning ol the term and that attendance had been regular. The Board’s maintenance staff was at present re-flooring the porches and re-erecting the bell tower and flagpole. A letter from the Education Board congratulating the teacher and committee on the standard of work being maintained in the school and the condition of the school environment was received. Arrangements for the school breakup were made and it was decided to hold the: annual school picnic at Timaru early in December. Tho chairman and teacher were authorised to procure prizes and toys for the Christmas tree.
