TO COUNTY PATRIOTIC FUND. • ■ v. GOOD PROGRESS MADE. A third grant of £IOO has been made to the Ashburton County section of the Million Pound {Patriotic Appeal. This is from Mr Hunter Morris, who has given the amount to the Winchmorc group of collectors. His employees have subscribed £3 12s to the fund. The other two £IOO grants were made at Wakanui some days ago. /

From Wakanui comes another handsome contribution, an anonymous subscriber offering half a ton of honey for delivery next March. This gift is valued at about £25.
