THE POTATOES FROM LYTTELTON ALL PURCHASED BY TIMARU. (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The arrangements for the shipment of additional potatoes to Australia has been altered because sufficient whiteskins are not available in North Canterbury. No potatoes will go from Lyttelton, and the whole consignment, now of 700 tons instead of 1000, as originally planned, will bo bought in South. Canterbury and shipped from Timaru. South Canterbury is carrying large stocks of whites, several growers having upwards of 4000 and 5000 sacks.
