FLOWER SHOW AT FAIRTON. The October meeting of the Fail-ton Women’s Institute took the form of a flower slioav iat Avhich Mrs !H. Thompson presided. Many parcels and money wetre received! for the lepers’ Christmas fund. Mrs H. Chappell . and Miss Oram Avere appointed delegates to the Hinds half-yearly federation meeting. Members were urged to support “Home and Country” more freely. The November meeting will be a- special one for the grandmothers, and special entertainment will be'arranged, Mrs Clarke, of Tinwald, judged and gave a most interesting and instructive lecture on flowers.
