HEARD OVER LONDON.

EXPLOSIONS IN THE NORTH.

(Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, October 1

Two solitary planes were heard over the north-west of London in the middle of the morning. Other planes were sighted over south-west and central districts, and explosions were later heal'd in the north of London. Other raiders were heard in the vicinity of the south-east and south-west coast late in the morning.
