47 GERMAN PLANES DOWN. BRITISH LOSE 1G PILOTS. (United Press Association—Copyright} (Received This Day, 2.45 p.m.) LONDON, September 30.

The number of German planes destroyed in to-day’s daylight attacks on Britain is now known to be 47. We lost 22 planes, the pilots of 12 being safe.
