PLAN APPROVED.
THE MILK ZONING SCHEME. INTRODUCTION NEXT MONTH The zoning scheme for Ashburton, drawn up largely by the Associated Milkmen’s accountant (Mr G. V. Furby) from particulars of rounds 1 and quantities of milk sold, supplied by the 12 men who come under the scheme was approved, with, a few minor alterations, at a meeting last evening. It is intended to introduce the scheme at the beginning of next month.
In view of the fact that dairies do not come under the scheme it was agreed that piny person could purchase milk from a milkman’s cart so long as it was in its particular zone.
