THE FOURTH REINFORCEMENTS. # TO ENTER CAMP ON OCTOBER 2. i (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, September 17. “I am glad to say that the outbreak of measles which resulted in the postponement of calling up men of the 4th Reinforcements has been very limited in extent,” said the Minister for Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) to-day. “After consultation with the Direc-tor-General of Health and the DirectorGeneral of Medical Services, it has now been decided to proceed with the programme of concentrating the men in the respective mobilisation camps, and the arrangements are in hand for the necessary movements of troops to begin ,on October 2.
“Although a further outbreak of measles is not regarded as likely, a recrudescence of the epidemic may necessitate a further postponement of concentration of the 4th Reinforcements. Members of this draft, therefore, arc instructed to remain in their present pending receipt of an individual order to proceed to camp.”
